So me and my fiance are getting prepared to submit the paper work to start the k1 visa process. I have been doing research on what I need to send. One of the things I saw what that i need to send is a statement from my fiance saying that she intends to marry me within 90 days of entering the US. My question is can she email me a copy of this with her signature or do I actually need the original copy? Like can she photo copy that to me or do I need the original document? Sorry if this is confusing this is just something we are trying to figure out. Thank you!

As I understand, she can make the letter, sign it, scan it, then email it to you.. peeps here say that wet signature is not a must for the letter of intent to marry😊 best of luck on your journey!

A careful read of the instructions will indicate that all evidence submitted to the uscis can be legible photocopies of original documents

She can photo copy and send after signature and email to you to include in the application package. It's done all the time.

I will tell you the way I did. I print the letter saying the intent of marry ,signed (pen black), added a copy of my passport and a photo ( passport type), and phisically mail this to my fiancee. That was the way I was oriented to do by the consultant that we hire. I hope it will help you. ;)
