Hello everyone, my mother is a legal permanent resident and she does not
work, my sister will also be my sponsor and lives with my mother.
I know that my mother should fill out the I864 form but my sister which form should fill out,
I864 or I864a ? My priority date is February 23, 2015. Thanks in advance.

Usually if your sister is your primary sponsor to cover for your mom's financial inability, then she files I-864. I-864A is usually filed by  the household member of sponsor to indicate the household member is also willing to sponsor.

Now a lot of other factors may apply depending on your situation and you need to read to see the terms and conditions especially if your mom is a household member and dependent on your sister and so on. It may not have much effect but you better understand the I-864 requirements and other VJ member can advise you better.

Thanks, I really appreciate your answer. My mom is my petitioner so she must to fill out I864 and my sister is a household member but according what I understand I864a is to COMBINE incomes but my mom does not work so there is nothing to combine... that is my doubt.
