"Two of our deputies were refused service at Starbucks," Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said on Twitter. "The anti police culture repeatedly displayed by Starbucks employees must end."
The department said on Twitter on Friday it was aware of the "cop with no coffee" incident that took place Thursday night.
Starbucks spokesman Reggie Borges told CNN the deputies were ignored for nearly five minutes -- and there's no excuse for that.
"We are deeply sorry and reached out to apologize directly to them. We take full responsibility for any intentional or unintentional disrespect shown to law enforcement on whom we depend every day to keep our stores and communities safe," Borges said.
The deputies were "laughed at" and "completely ignored," Bianco said in a video. "They tried to get served, they asked if anyone was going to help them," he said.
Eventually, they left, Bianco said.

I have seen quite a few Starbuck related issues recently, seems like they need to close down for more diversity training. Unclear if the Police Officers were allowed to us the Bathrooms.

If only these people would protest how heinous it is for pumpkin spice to be seasonal.

But in all seriousness, it's happened a few times, but people really need to put this in perspective, or what I call logic filtering. We get a lot of news nationally, and start to believe that repeatedly seeing the same thing is a meaningful trend. But cases like this demonstrate the irrationality of that. These are individual franchises, in a sea of franchises, over 10,000 in the US alone. Just like we wouldn't assume 40 murders in a weekend in Chicago doesn't make Boise, ID, unsafe, or the US as a whole, it makes little sense to assume this is Starbucks' policy as a whole unless there's actual evidence that their policy is to treat police like this. It also makes no sense to me to employ pointless "protest" choices. I know plenty of SJWs go there, but everywhere I've ever gone to Starbucks, in dozens of US states and several Canadian provinces, the employees have been nothing short of polite.

I was given a Starbucks Gift Card for a talk I did, gave it away.

Starbucks hold themselves to a higher standard, a much higher standard so are measured accordingly.

It's not a reflection of Starbucks as a company or its mission/CVP. It's a reflection of a few idiots who got fired, and even that, unless they showed no remorse/were fired via progressive discipline, I don't think they should lose their jobs either.

People really need to understand how some of these reactions are highly disproportionate to the crime, and not only that, but this is a method similarly used by SJWs trying to ruin people/companies. The best way to validate their behavior is to employ it.

Most other companies I have no issue with, Starbucks is different.

How diverse were the cops?  No one seems to have asked this yet.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Sometimes low wage employees do dumb stuff. Same reaction when some dumb red neck makes a racist remark and everyone blames waffle house.
