This whole NeverTrump charade has been going on since before Trump was sworn in, from the media talking up impeachment (for anything under the sun), to the media gaslighting an entire political demographic, trying to solicit faithless electors from one party to go against the way the states voted to get Hillary elected President anyways, Democrats protesting the election certification, planning how to undermine/abuse government power against Trump from the bureaus (and coordinate their efforts through the media), independents and moderates see through this garbage and focus on results, rather than entertain the mental gymnastics by entitled people who can't fathom not getting their way. While my first instinct is to tell the left to use the brain they have, the consequentialist in me also sees it as just to let them lose again and again (perfect punishment for the entitled) until they figure it out.

Good punishment, but they'll probably never figure it out.

They haven't been able to separate Trump's supporters from him no matter what they've tried.

They don't care enough to try to understand the bond.
