I was wondering is it acceptable to submit a NVC expedite request after you've already submitted all of your financial and civil documents on the CEAC website. And what reasons are acceptable to even submit this request?

sure, you can request it anytime, chances of it getting approved are same as any other expediate request.

I will tell you this: I have a trip planned to visit my spouse next year and I figured I ask them to review quickly and get me DQ so that the timings match up and I can join for the interview. The next day I got automated DQ email. I did not get any email response of confirming it but it looks like they use some common sense in the way ...

Wow, so they never followed up with you saying if they denied your request to expedite?

Thanks for sharing.

they did but email was too vague.

For me mostly its the boredom or restlessness when there is nothing to do or no movement.

Didn't end up bothering for clarity mostly cause november, december flies by quickly since its holiday season, jan is tax season and feb I'm going to visit my spouse and we should have interview or interview date by then...
