My green card was in my wallet and my wallet was stole. I’m eligible for naturalization. Should I replace my green card or just file for naturalization?

You first have to file an I-90 to replace your GC and pay the fee. Depending on where you live, you will be waiting anything from 3 to 16 months for your naturalization to be complete.

You have to return your GC at your oath ceremony. And if your N-400 is denied for any reason, you still need to have a GC to prove your status here.

I assume you have filed a police report?
