Is rapid visa worth it?

I'm stressing out about filing the K1 visa correctly. My fiancé lives in China. So I have to translate our train tickets, her addresses, etc.

I would like to know if anyone has used rapid visa. If so, how was your experience and would you recommend it.

You will still need to gather all the same information to provide it to rapid visa..

rapid visa will still have you complete and sign sign all the forms, gather all the information ect, they basically take what you mail them and post it to USCIS as go between person..

save your money, do it yourself... seriously

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

I'm using rapid visa for my CR1 Spousal Visa with my husband. To be honest, I have grown a little more and more disappointed with them recently. In the beginning, when I didn't know anything, they were great. And I guess since I didn't know anything, I trusted them 100%. But now after researching so much here on VJ, I know so much more than I did at the beginning of the visa process. So sometimes when I call RapidVisa asking them a question, they don't give great answers. Some agents from RapidVisa you can tell are reading straight from a script. Some tell me one thing and then they say : "but hold on, let me ask and double check for you." And then they come back and change their answer 😕 I have gotten conflicting information from two different agents from RapidVisa as well, which if I didn't know any better and I didn't have VJ to help me, who knows what information I would have taken to be true or not. But... would I say I regret paying for their service? Not really. I think the one biggest positive for me about using RapidVisa is they make filling out the forms VERY easy. You just answer questions online and they automatically fill in the forms for you. Which to me, is great because I WAY over think questions when I'm reading directly from forms. They are good too when you want a second pair of eyes reviewing your application to make sure you didn't miss anything. So basically those are the two reasons I don't regret using Rapid Visa. Just don't purchase their service thinking they know all the answers, because they don't. If you are good at filling out forms yourself, stick to the information you will find here on VJ, everyone is great and EXTREMELY helpful. Here, you can find almost any question you could possibly think of. Oh and as for the translations, RapidVisa doesn't do translations. I suggest Rush Translate. They're not that expensive, super fast (usually less than 1 day) and they are guaranteed to be accepted by USCIS. Good luck!

I just want to second everything, @Kani2015 said here about RapidVisa. They have been helpful in many ways and gave us great advice most of the time, but they have also given me incorrect answers to a couple of my questions. We were so overwhelmed when we first started our immigration journey. There is so much to know, and it helped to have RapidVisa sort it out for us. I don't regret having used their service, but more glad to have found VisaJourney to clarify any doubts we had about RV's advice. Whatever you choose to do, you will still have to do a great deal of research to educate yourself about the process. You are always going to be your own best advocate. Best of luck with your journey!

Rapid Visa has been the most discussed visa company then any other that I have seen here on VJ. Just about every week someone ask the same question, wanting to know if they are worth it. I did a search for you whereupon you will see all the negative responses toward RV's work.

Thanks everyone for the responses. Seems like it's not worth it at all. I'll save my money and do everything myself.

@Kani2015 I'll check out rush translate. Thanks for the suggestion.

Also if you use them they will not translate anything either. So you are still stuck with having to translate things for your packet submission

As many people have already mentioned, there seem to always be some people every now and then that inquire about or comment about RapidVisa. I would  suggest that the comments and reports about the service have generally not been too favorable. YMMV.

There are some documents that you will need for going through the GUZ consulate that require notarial certificates from Chinese notary publics. If you haven't already, you should review the pinned thread in the China Regional Forum for lots of good information: https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/393969-chinese-marriage-visa-terms-and-definitions/ . You need to become aware of the type and format of the documents that the GUZ consulate requires. Many folks have tried to do short-cuts or submit other types of document formats, only to receive RFE or 221g responses.

Please be advised that all of these visa processes are not for the faint of heart, nor light of wallet. B-)

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Nobody ever said that is was going to be a walk in the park to get a visa through the GUZ consulate, it is usually worth at least two or three large spools of red tape...;)

One thing that may make things a little easier for for both of you, particularly her, is for her to seek out and get involved in the WeChat group. There seems to always be WeChat groups of ladies that get together and share their stories, experiences and knowledge about US visa processes. I would be surprised if she hasn't already found such a group.

Good luck on your immigration journey.
