I-130 DCF CR-1 Visa Experience

I am grateful to have the support of VisaJourney and all the members who contribute here. To give my support back to this community I have created a master document that includes my experience and learnings during this process. I have collated a lot of information from various forums so there will be text that is posted by other members in it. This is a document with all information at one place that help you to stay inline.

I hope this will be helpful to you.

Good Luck

Wow this might be great to have but you do not tell the outcome of your case and you're a newbie.  Then you want us to download a file to look...  I don't think I'll take that chance and possibly get a virus.

Thanks Shaung for the insight, but there is a lot of text in this document and copying and pasting it wouldn't make sense. If the fear of virus stops you from downloading then wont be able to help much....:)

From the file: We had our interview on 18 NOV 2019 and we are APPROVED
In total, it took us 75 DAYS from filing our I-130 to getting our visa.
A big thanks to visajourney !!!!

This is really geared towards an Indian DCF journey. All other countries vary with most steps.

Yes, Thats right, This was filed in India and is more useful for people applying from India. However, this may also just work as a guideline for some people.

Could you please put the information on a blog?  Plenty of websites to write a free blog.  I don't trust any downloads, even if I know the VJ admins keep the site secure.

Congrats on your visa.

I checked the document. I feel a lot of it is just copied from my experience and threads here & here, but nevertheless, good on you for compiling it into one place.
Cheers

Thanks Kuneesa. I wanted to reach out to you personally and thank you especially for creating such a beautiful post on your experience. It really helped us a lot. So thank you once again. I had prepared this document for ourselves to refer to during the process , from start to finish ( with a lot of information on PCC India and Foreign , IRS, Extensive Interview questions etc ) and once it was ready i decided to share with others. :)
