Hello Monica7777, I have not received anything in whatsoever form so far. Would you please share your e-inquiry result? Thanks.

Hi Larry6699

Just wanted to provide a quick update that the documents were uploaded to https://myaccount.uscis.gov/  with the interview letter. Our interview is scheduled for March 27, 2020.

Is the person the n600 was applied for, over 14 years old? I believe they schedule oath ceremonies in those instances.

fyi I applied n600 for my kid. Myuscis has the interview appointment status, uscis case status (is that what you mean by egov?) says the case was approved and approval notice sent. Both dated 27 Feb, no online letter in myuscis and nothing physical received yet.

Yes, the N600 is for a 16 year old. The letter says we are scheduled for an: ADMINISTRATION OF OATH. The instructions say we will have to surrender the alien registration card. So I am not sure if this is a combination of an interview and oath and they both take place at the same time.

I'll keep you posted on the process.

My understanding of these is that it’s not an “interview” as such, really just the oath, and he gets the certificate. I assume he doesn’t have a passport yet if he still has his green card? My daughter has a passport - we had to send her green card in for that already. She’s also under  14. So the cases are slightly different.  I’ll keep the thread updated on ours too, for reference for future readers.

Sorry I forget now - did you get an “approved” status before the oath ceremony mailed one on egov?

Hi SusieQQQ,

We didn't apply for his passport because we had no plans of traveling outside the country and was eligible to take his driving test last month. I figured the driver's license/permit would be something helpful to show for when we applied for the passport.

Thank you so much for the information regarding the interview/oath. I'll also keep the thread posted to let other readers know how it goes.

Yes, that is correct. Before 3/5 the status was 'Case Approved' on the https://egov.uscis.gov/ website.

I hope this helps.

It would be nice to receive an update from Topgear77 or anyone else who has gone through this.

We are using an immigration lawyer and I asked him about this situation. His comment was that the website has been inaccurate lately. So until we receive the letter in the mail we won't know for sure.

Hi Monica7777, I really don’t have much to update at this moment. My case should be later than yours. My online status was changed to this weird interview appointment on 2/13, saying that they will send me an appointment letter for interview but I was not able to see the interview letter online as I used to be in the past, no physical letter was not received in the mail either so far. So today I called the USCIS automated phone service number, finding that my case was approved, which conflicted with the online status. If you or someone else has any update, I’d appreciate if it can be shared.

The same as mine. Two websites show two different status.
