Filing Fee + Biometrics Fee? Together or Separate Checks

Hello All,

 

I am at the early part of putting together my paperwork. I am kind of confused on the Filing Fee part.

 

Do we send the Filing Fee + Biometric Fee as a total sum on 1 check, or do these need to be two separate checks? 

 

Please share your wisdom.

I suppose that you could pay with multiple checks, money orders, credit card authorizations, etc. Though not specifically mentioned, most folks pay with one check, when possible. Make sure that you fill out the check exactly as in the example provided.

Filed 6 weeks ago for wife and her 2 sons. One check for $850. Memo line read I751 + biometrics x 3. Cashed without a problem

I sent only one money order from post office for both fees. Worked  for me

it doesn't matter, honestly, just make sure you add the amounts properly.

 

I sent separate checks for each, but it was personal preference.
