😀 My wife and I are filling out Form I-751 and are a bit confused about part 10.  It asks for preparers information if other than the petitioner.  I am the US citizen and my wife is conditional resident/petitioner.  Should I fill out part 10 as the preparer or is this just intended for attorneys?  Thanks for any help.

Who prepared the form?

1.If you helped prepare it eg because she doesn't understand English, then put your name.

2.If an attorney,  then they have their part.

3.Otherwise, if you just helped, because you understand the document preparation process better than her, BUT she understands the English perfectly, I see no point in you adding yourself as preparer.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Thank you Timona,  We prepared the form together without an attorney.   Her English is probably 90% but it is not her first language.  Like I say, we prepared it together but I am the one who actually did the writing, long hand, but she absolutely understood all of the questions.  I guess my point is we did it together as a married couple.  There was no outside person involved.  Any further comments would be welcome, thanks
