This may be a really stupid question, is there anything specific I need to take with me when I visit England next week?

I’m English, living in Pennsylvania. I have my green card, my work permit, my driving license, etc. I’ve been here over a year and have a job etc etc. I’m going home on Monday for 2 weeks and I just wanted to double check what I need to take in case I’ve forgotten anything.

Obviously I’ll have my passport and my green card. Someone suggested I take a copy of my marriage certificate as my passport says miss and I’m mrs now. Anything else I need to have with me?

thanks.

If your name on the passport is maiden name and on the green card is married name then sometimes the marriage certificate is needed to prove you are the one person. Other than that no, you don't need anything else.

My maiden name was actually the same as my husbands last name before we got married, so my last name hasn’t changed 😂

thank you for confirming that though!

Work permit (EAD) has no validity since you have a green card. If you show that somewhere, it might confuse people, because your EAD was issued based on a pending AOS

passport and greencard is all thats is needed.

your EAD/AP card expired once the greencard was issued so it is not a valid document anyways.
