There is a sample picture of an approval notice here, you’ll see it says “approval notice” under notice type, below the beneficiary's name. This is what you need to find.

https://citizenpath.com/form-i-797-notice-action/

Please, read the posts properly, I said earlier there is a  “notice type” box. (Bolded above as you seem to have missed that before despite me telling you where to find it on the sample link I included.) What does it say in the “notice type” box on the i797s you are looking at?

And if you don’t know what I mean please actually look at the sample to see what I mean before answering.  I’m happy to help but getting a little tired of going round in circles.

What is this sudden upsurge of people who feel the need to post all in bold?

Every single word must be emphasized.

Is this sarcasm? Because quite frankly, im losing my cool, i tried to be polite and as calm as possible and people actually  come here to seek help not to get humiliated and so on. I find it quite amusing that some people here are extremely rude. I am new here and i honestly had no idea i shouldn't post in bold letters. I thanked and thank nice people who responded/respond nicely and i honestly dont have patience with inconsiderate and insensitive  people and bullies. This forum  is not as helpful as i thought it would be. 👌

I am sorry for the hostility, some things in VJ blow my mind sometimes. 🙄🙄🙄

I do not have the answer to your questions but maybe @geowrian can shed some light here?

We need to know:

1) The date of the initial application (aka the "Priority Date"). This is on the initial 797. It appears this is  3/19/1997 from the above screenshot.

2) The date of petition approval. This is on a different 797. It will have a notice date after 3/19/1997 (and almost certainly not by 1 day, and very likely not by 1 month). In the "Notice Type" it will say "Approval notice" (or similar).

3) The date the visa number initially became available according to the visa bulletin. If you don't know it off-hand, the above 2 items can be used to determine how much time is protected for CSPA purposes still. It would be before the NVC notice on 4/2/2019.

Jeez!  Calm down.  It was a joke to SusieQQQ, who I actually quoted.  Wow.

This statement is very unfair to the people who are trying to help you. Several forum members took the time to explain to you what information they need from you to be able to answer your questions. I believe that was very helpful of them.

I don't want to appear to be one of them, but perhaps it will help to say that, while it is a very personal/emotional issue to you, the immigration process is a very impersonal, legalistic process in which the people explaining or enforcing the system can often seem inconsiderate and insensitive -- especially those with a sense of humor that differs from yours.  Immigration/Consular officials are often viewed as impersonal, insensitive, or unfeeling because they can't take into account the personal side if it conflicts with US law.  This forum is far less insensitive than the officials can be.

While I appreciate your desire to help your aunt and uncle, without access to the forms they've recieved, it may be best for the petitioner to ask for help because those are the forms we need.
