there is no size requirement. You want to be SEEN, so i wouldnt recommend teeny tiny ones. ;)

ours were all 4x6 and copied 4-5 to a page (however many i could get to fit). probably sent 20 photos total that spanned literally dozens of trips over 3 years.

There are no specific requirements on size of photos. As a general rule of thumb: have a size that's big enough to clearly enough detail so they can identify you in the photos. I recommend 4x6 sizes because they're standard. But you can go larger or smaller as needed.

I learned the hard way, I hope YOU don't have to. Advice: learn, learn, learn.

They're evidence for USCIS and the State Department, not for a photo gallery.

Printing pictures (other than 2x2 passport-style pictures) on plain paper is fine (that's what we did), and even useful (because if you copy things into a Word doc or something like that, you can type who is in the photo, where, and when instead of writing it by hand).

I read that 5×7 photos for evidence of meeting in person is acceptable. But are 4×6 photos acceptable? Just making sure I do this right the first time.

Photos are secondary evidence.  Since they are not required, there is no size requirement.

We didn't send any photos except for the required 2x2 passport sized ones.

Agree, we printed about 10 pics with 2/page plain paper. As Dave said, it is not a photo gallery.

Don't put it in a fancy binder, USCIS will just have to rip the binder apart to put the photos in their file folders. Save the fancy binder for the coffee table edition.later on.
