Hi

i just wanted to ask anyone who had an experience or info on departing from the Philippines with an IR1 visa. Does the US immigration ask for your Marriage Registration at the airport upon departure? We did not register , as per many complications on applying and also we were advised that we did not need to do so after our visa and counseling approvals. But the lady whom my husband spoke to at the exit counseling told him that they look for that. Just wanted to know if its true.thank you

Not true.   They do not want to see a marriage registration at the airport.

You need your visa and the CFO sticker in the passport.

I agree with your hubby.   Follow your husband's suggestion  - Pay the Immigration Fee to USCIS .. the green card will not be processed until that is paid.
