N400 form filling, simple questions

N400 form simple questions for newbabi😅

1. I am allowed to handwrite or type in black ink, or both to fill this form?

2. Part 5. A current physical address, dates of residence from .. to "present", can I fill "present"here, or fill the exact month date year I am filing it? I have been and will continue to live in my current place.

3. Part 8, 1: Date from ..  to "present", can I fill "present"here, or fill the exact month date year I am filing it? I have been unemployed and will continue for a while.

     Also, for this part, in past five years, if I went through employed, unemployed, employed, unemployed until now, should I just fill 2 period employed period information(there will be time gap there), or need to fill all 4 period information with home address for unemployed period.  But there are just 3 period places provided in the form.

4. Part 9.1:  if half day in US airport and my US home, half day on the flight between US and other country, should I count that day as one full day in US or not? Based on the instruction, it seems that should be counted one full day in US, but online video shows not.

                2: How many trips have you taken outside the US in past 5 years? I flew from US to China, while I was in China, I traveled to Thailand, went back China.then came back to US from China. That is counted as one trip, or two trips?
