Me and my husband filed on line on the 17th and got the receipt immediately with a receipt number however we had to wait until we got the physical copy through the mail (I797) to find out which SC we got and it went to Nebraska. Still doesn’t show up online as to it being sent there as I’ve read that it does on other people’s.

I was able to find the receipt notice on the "Documents" tab.  Your receipt notice is under the section: "USCIS notices"

FYI to others wondering how to identify your service center, the service center is on the bottom left portion of your receipt notice.  Mine says "Texas Service Center"

Interestingly, I didn't get emailed the receipt notice but I did receive it about a week later in the mail.

Found it! Thank you! Congrats on getting Texas... we were hoping for Potomac or Texas but ended up with Nebraska... Hopefully it shouldn’t be too much of a wait and I’ve seen the occasional one that get processed faster than it’s showing... So finger crossed 🤞🏼

I found out the next day which service center was handling our case after I submitted my petition online.  Mine went to Texas as well, was hoping for Potomac....

I  think texas is better and  my case is tsc. Hope we get our noa2 in may

You may want to wait until a day or so after that call the customer service since you already have the receipt number to confirm which service center has your case.

The notice was uploaded Friday afternoon. We wr assigned Texas as well.

Hello all December filers! We filed online on Dec 27th. Unfortunately our receipt says it was assigned to Nebraska Service Center :( I'm expecting to hear from them in a year or so :D

Thankfully we're not in a hurry (we live together in Poland) so if anyone were to get Nebraska it's okay that it's us :)

Good luck guys!!!

Yes because I sent a Photobook, they couldn’t scan it into the computer...they are giving out IOE numbers because the e-filings department is now working on the i-130 applications

They can’t upload a photobook into the computer, immigration process is now changing to e-filing, they are still accepting paper based filing however they are uploading the paperwork into the computer, that’s why we  getting IOE case numbers
