Congratulations - which service center did your NOA2 come from (it says at the bottom)? Also, please update your timeline.

Such good news to all. So these are the next steps for those who are wondering. Please also correct me if I am wrong.

  • NOA2 Approved
  • USCIS is transferring your case to the National Visa Center; this process can take up to 2 weeks. Once the NVC has received your case, they are going to send you an email with the login information to your NVC portal.( I think this is also the CEAC portal?)

This is all I know so far :)

Please help!

I just need some advise on the issues we are having with the taxes.

My husband has not filled taxes yet since he only recently this year started a job that qualified him to obviously file or submit now however the next tax season is only in Jan 2021. We are now stuck at this point and not sure what other options we have. He is supposed to get his W2 and paystubs which say he does qualify to be my sole sponsor.

Long of the short we started this process with the intent of my mother in-law being the sponsor however her tax returns are still being held at IRS since the begging of this year so now we are trying to rather let my husband be my sole sponsor as he is making enough money to qualify to do so.

NVC wont let us continue to the next step if he does not have his tax returns so is there anything else we can do? Do we rather just wait till next to file as this process has just been dragging on for so long. We recently just received the NOA2 and now this is holding up the process.

Anyone have any advice on how to contact USCIS by phone or email? Because they don't accept any inquiry on USCIS's website.

I'm still waiting for my NOA2. It's been a year from my NOA1. My headache won't go away.  I missed my wife and son :(

You are not going to get anywhere until it is outside of the posted processing times, which you can find on:  https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

Does your case have any red flags? Prior marriages to non-U.S.C. prior sponsorship of previous spouses, multiple marriages, beneficiary's prior marriages, high fraud country etc. anything you can think of about your case that is "unusual"?
