How were they notified? Did they receive an email from NVC about next steps?

We haven't received the email from NVC yet, we got to know from checking the app (USCIS tracker) and the online account.

We just got lucky, I guess. We did not expedite our case at Texas.

Heard from couple of other people in the group too, that their cases got approved.

For a matter of fact, TSC is the fastest service center out of all.

Trump's executive order does not impact the US citizens who have filed for their parents, kids or spouse. the processing will keep on going.

We just received our first email from NVC with the case number. Our case got approved on April 22nd 2020.
