what to upload to the NVC (merged threads)

Hey guys! 

 

I am starting to upload my documents on NVC. I am a full time student. I never filed for taxes. My brother in law will be supporting me on my Affidavit 

of support. Do i need to upload any of my documents on how I am a full time student or I never filled for taxes?

I am the petitioner and also a full time student, My brother is helping me with my affidavit of support. Do I need to upload any documents except for my proof of naturalization?  I don't have any criminal background and I have never filed for taxes I always have been a dependent under my parents.

Yes, you need to fill out your own I864, and submit proof/a letter of why you did not file taxes (or file your taxes now, even if you made no money you still can file) as well as all other required sponsor documentation. Even though you are not using your own income to qualify and are using a joint sponsor, you still have to fill out and submit everything a normal sponsor does, since you are still the primary sponsor regardless of if you currently have a qualifying income or not

Yes I am going to file a I864...  I am 21 and have been a full time student, and I didn't work nor did I file taxes. So I don't know what proof or letter to submit..

hey  i had a question about what to upload here because i didn't file for taxes, because im going to have add a joint sponser for affidavit of support. So I don't understand what im going to upload in affidavit of support form and tax return form?

You put your filled out and signed affidavit of support under affidavit of support. You still have to fill out and sign your own affidavit even if you’re using a joint sponsor and have no income because you are still the primary sponsor. You can put your letter of non filing like the example letter I showed you under your taxes
