I Have A Joint Sponser & We Are Getting Ready To Fill Out The Forms For Affadavit Of Support. My First Question Is What Documents Are Required To Bring Along With Each AOS Form? Do I Have To Obtain IRS Tax Transcripts For Just The Past Year Or 3 Years? ALSO!!!! If My Fiance Has His Interview In Feb Or March Will 2018 Tax Transcript Be Okay For Most Recent Since You Do Not Have To File 2019 Taxes Until April?

for sponsor and joint sponsors:

 

tax transcripts past 3 years

6 months paystubs

letter of employment stating estimated or contracted annual salary

proof of citizenship (co sponsors)

 

for an interview prior to april 15 2020, you will need to provide transcripts for 2018,17 and 16. if you have the w2 for 2019 you can bring it as well, but it is not required as taxes are not required to be filed before april 15

you can submit just last year's tax return but if you want to submit the last 3 years, just make sure to check box 23b(optional) either way make sure you fill out all the boxes in 24a,b,c
