Hey there! I am (IM)patiently waiting to schedule my interview, and I was wondering if anyone had a screenshot of what the CGI website looked liked when it was ready to schedule.

Also, if I have my interview by the end of January, do I need the new W2 from 2019? Packet 3 had all the financial info from 2018.

Thank you so much for your help.

ustraveldocs.com   you are ready to schedule already once you have sent in your P3 as you have your case number

pay the fees and schedule...   do note that if beneficiary had prior non immigrant applications, she need to fake apply as a non immigrant first (eg B1 or F1) to enter the new ds160 number in profile update.  THEN return to K1.  K1 profile update has no field to update DS 160 number.  System bug

W2 ok, none also ok, just bring 3 mths pay stub, 2018 tax transcripts.  If income sufficiently significant, no one cares.

In Germany you need packet 4  to schedule your interview, so I thought maybe it changes in the US travel docs webpage as well.

On paper they say wait for P4 then schedule.  P4 is a sheet of paper telling you what to bring to the interview thats it.   P3 and P4 have that important case number which you need to input to the scheduling site.    You can schedule after payment.  Will not affect your interview.

That is not true for the Consulate in Frankfurt, Germany. Packet 4 is an email that tells you to schedule your interview, and before this, you cannot schedule it, even if you paid all the fees.

Not true for Germany. Here is what the official word is from the website of the embassy.

The Immigrant Visa Unit will send you a notification letter (packet 3) after the approved petition has been received. Once you receive this letter you may start your visa application and submit all forms and documents listed in the Immigrant  / Fiancee & K-Visa Application Checklist (pdf) to the U.S. Consulate General Frankfurt. Do not submit any documents to the National Visa Center.

After the Immigrant Visa Unit has received and reviewed the documents, we will release your request for an appointment through our Visa Service Provider. The request will automatically be triggered as soon as you pay the visa application fee. After the request has been approved by the Immigrant Visa Unit, you will be notified to log back into your profile and do the actual scheduling of the appointment.
Do not attempt to schedule an appointment before you are instructed to do so. An appointment request without authorization by the Consulate will be denied.

Thank you so much for your help.

The only requirement is if you have filed and you can access the tax transcripts for 2019 otherwise use 2018. Further requirements are below for financials that most embassy's are looking for.

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT: You must submit any evidence which will show that you and members of your family who will accompany you are not likely to become public charges while in the United States. Visa petitioner (US Citizen) will have to complete form 1-134. If the petitioner does not qualify as a sponsor, a Joint-Sponsor should ALSO be presented (any US Citizen living in the US or Legal Permanent Resident), who will also have to complete form 1-134. Both, the Sponsor (Petitioner) as well as the Joint-Sponsor, will have to present last year's income tax return transcripts. W2 form and proof of current and sustainable income (e.g letter of employment on letterhead including salary and start date, most recent salary receipts, bank accounts, value of properties, etc.). You may download the 1-134 affidavit at: https://www.uscis.gov/i-134 Get the IRS transcript in place of the actual 1040 here: https://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript Use this link to determine the income levels needed https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p.

Curious about this as well

We need a little housekeeping if you may. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks
