Adjudication dates typically accurate?

I was wondering how accurate the predictions for adjudication for a k-1 here on VJ are. They are constantly in flux (and I know it's based on the timeline of those who are in the process of approval), but I'm wondering if those of you who've received adjudication on your k-1's found the VJ estimated date of adjudication accurate.

Mine came in a few weeks ahead of the projected date.

Its just a calculated averate of all timelines. With that there will be some people who will be approved before the estimated date will say they will. We were approved about 3 weeks ahead of the estimated date.

Our I-130 was adjudicated a couple of days after the process date on the US Embassy in London website.

Hi,

I've watched the VJ estimates and they are okay. However, one thing I did was create a spreadsheet to do statistical analysis based on previous similar petitions. I have found that the median (50%) is a good guess so far; withing +/- 1 week. Our case just got opened in Guangzhou on 6/8 and my prediction was 6/11 for a P3. We expect it within the next few days.

The good thing about doing this is you can have 3 dates: a 50% chance date, 84% date, or 98% date. This helps you set reasonable expectations. You can find the spreadsheet at: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;#entry714531

Do you get an estimate as soon as you put in the date that you sent your I-129F or I-130 into your timeline? I'm confused. I haven't filed yet cause I'm waiting on my divorce to be final, but if I could, would love to put in my approximate filing date and see approximately when I'll be approved. Thanks for your help!

I would say that mine was very accurate. Even considering that I got an RFE, I still got my NOA2 by the predicted date!

Yes you correct. Once you plug in the date that you put your petition in the mail it give you an estimated date of NOA2 based on average timelines from vjer's filings.

Ours was about three weeks early. Though there have been some people who have filed through the same service center and have had to wait 4 months or more (much longer than the estimated adjudication date!) for no real reason. You can never predict what tricks USCIS will pull.
