Is this a good sign? Wait time (for interview) now says 31 days...

I'm an April 2019 filer (Manhattan resident) and as some of you may know the wait time (for an interview) for residents of Manhattan and the Bronx is pretty horrendous....my current estimated case completion is March 2020 (though it has changed four times this year). 

 

Last month my "wait time" (for the interview/next phase) was 3 months. And then at the start of December that changed two 2 months. And then today it changed to 31 days.

 

Does that mean (assuming there are no further delays in NYC) that I should hear some news in about 31 days in regards to the interview date/scheduling?

 

I hope so. This is the first feeling of "hope" I have felt since I started this process!!!

3/2020: Oath & naturalization (11 months)

6/2020: Passport received (3 months)

Officially a U.S. Citizen!

Like it shows "estimated wait time..." but it seems things are picking up at your location if there are constant updates on how much longer 🙂🤞

False alarm. Wait time had fallen to 17 days but today increased again to 3 months - it's a torture test for Manhattan applicants.
