since there was no intent when your fiance came to visit, it is not an issue and is permissible. The one thing to think about is they can not work until they have EAD or greencard, so that may be an issue. Also, being able to tie things up back home for him may be difficult. We are still paying for a storage unit in canada every month (yes, we can go back, just havent really had the time). so, keep those things in mind, too.

Thank you for taking time to share. This is really good to know and see. We now even more inclined to get married when he's here and abandon the K1. It's tough with the travels being pregnant. And he's definitely not keen on leaving us behind, which is understandable.
