Hi Everyone, Its been a couple of years since I was last on but now its time to start removal of conditions. We can file the paperwork in 12 days (the 90 day window).

How much evidence are people submitting typically?

We have an investment fund together, joint account with both paychecks going into this account, just had a baby (which is why I am just looking into this now), a handful of international vacations together before the baby arrived, joint health insurance, our son was in the NICU for 3 months so lots of medical records with my husband in the documents. Throw in a couple of pictures as a family, during these trips, during our hospital stay, and since we have been home with our son. Life insurance and a Will were on the agenda before my son was born but my son arrived 3 months early and all that was put to the side.

Do you think this would be enough?

That is good but I would add a will and medical power of attorney, also any utility bills that are in both names Also copies of your DL or ID with same address.

Good idea about the license and I will look into the medical power of attorney.

We already submitted the utility bills and co-owners of vehicles during the GC interview. I will look into our bills and see if there was anything we added since the initial GC interview :)

I will do that before sending stuff in. You don't have to send in 12 days. As long as it's within the 90 days and before the green card expires, that's fine.

I would do some other mundane easy to get stuff like electric bills, water bills, cell phone bills, ...

We updated our cell phone plan so that would be a good one to add. I will be honest my husband moved in with me and I never got around to adding him to the house mortgage or electric bills (just was never a big thing for us they are actually still in my maiden name because I just hate calling these companies).

Also one more question what is the form/website that tells when you travel in and out of the country?

I am planning on showing this along with the plane/vacation reservations and pictures together since I don't think I have the boarding passes any more. I remember thinking I should keep them but likely throw them out in the end. My iPhone pictures have a time stamp and show the location where the pictures were taken also.

For our ROC we initially submitted around six (6) pounds worth of documents, statements, etc. The specific types of evidence are very frequently discussed on this forum, including the second pinned HUGE thread at top of this forum, link shown below. In response to the RFE that we received eight months after our initial submission, we submitted almost four (4) pounds of additional documents, statements, etc..... everything 'cept the kitchen sink!   Suggest that you do some research and check out the numerous threads posted on this very-often discussed topic.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

basically ... everything.

I stole this from someone on here for my own records for when we file ROC , and don't know who to attribute it to, but I found it a pretty comprehensive guideline

Note: I use a star rating to represent the (subjective) strength of some examples of the evidence (*** for strong/verifiable/difficult to fake; ** moderate; * weak). Using multiple corroborating evidence for each section below from the date of marriage to the present, you want to show that you both:

Cohabit (CRITICAL):

    Government IDs with same address***
Signed lease agreements with both names**
Bills in both names for utilities that are home-specific (electric, gas, cable, land lines but not cell phones)**
Renters insurance policy in both names**
    Correspondence in both names*
Your letter to USCIS/affidavits explaining your living circumstances*
    Etc.

Co-mingle finances (CRITICAL):

Assets jointly owned

Titles for significant assets (real estate, cars,  collectibles, etc.) in both names***
Joint financial account (bank, investment) statements with transaction history**
Your letter to USCIS/affidavits explaining your financial practices*

Liabilities jointly responsible for

Tax returns/transcripts showing Married Filed Joint status***
    Joint credit card statements**
    Joint mortgage/car loan/personal loan docs**
Signed lease agreements with both names**
    Utility bills in both names**
    Joint health insurance documentation**
Your letter to USCIS/affidavits explaining your financial practices*

Share life experiences:

Birth certificates of children you've had together**
Travel documentation in both names (boarding passes/hotel receipts > bookings) **
Well chosen pictures of you together (e.g., to support travel above, or child birth above, or other major family events)*
    Shared memberships*
Your letter to USCIS/affidavits explaining your shared experiences*

Plan for the future together:

    Beneficiary nominations on retirement accounts**
    Child savings accounts**
    Wills***
    Estate trust documents***
    Power of attorney***
    Joint life insurance policies***
Your letter to USCIS/affidavits explaining your future plans*

I would aim to provide at least 2 of the evidence in each section (the weaker the evidence you have, the more the corroboration you might need). Where you're lacking, explain why in your letter, and be creative in looking for alternative evidence. Remember: where possible, for each evidence, provide from date of marriage to the present (e.g., travel docs from Year 1 AND Year 2 AND Year X). Hope this helps.

Between my husband and I yesterday we both can home with about 2 pounds each of paper work. I forgot that we have a lot of things like life insurance policies through work, joint credit cards, our joint retirement account, our joint account credit union account all our bills come out of.

Thanks for all the reminders, super helpful.

Things have been crazy with our son coming home from the hospital after a 3 month stay. We have a lot of doctors appointments and we don't have as much time and energy to put towards this process as we did the first go around but luckily I feel we are very familiar with how things work by now.

As always this website is always very helpful.
