I have been asked to do weddings, looked into how much was being charged and it is good money but you really need to focus on it. Agree many seem booked up a long way in advance.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Is the outrage that slavery existed on these plantations divisive and fabricated though? It certainly is toxic, the greatest stain on our nation, I will agree on that. Is this not as distasteful as setting up a marquee at Manzanar?

Yeah but many people don't know that white people weren't the only race that had slaves back in the 1800's. Their were slave owners who were Black, Hispanic, and Native American. Yes, this is true and it is not widely known at all.

What percentage of Black Slave owners owned white slaves?

I can't give you a percentage at all. But the amount of people owning slaves was very dependent on the state and the geography of that state.

So for example I live in the Piedmont region of NC.This part of NC is known for it's red clay while the sandhill region is known for being well sandy. But these issues made it next to impossible for plantations to flourish here in this region. While down in the part of the state large plantations were more prevalent. So what you saw that primarily only a few people owned slaves and they were few in number. Many of the slaves were actual tradesmen with skills so they were able to make money off their skills.

I believe those need clearance from the Sherrif, for obvious reasons.

If you wear a badge and a uniform, okay, I'm in, if you get clearance. I can Venmo you a deposit later. I haven't selected the bridesmaids yet but everyone will be about 35 (my sister is a little older) and likely to behave themselves. I'll make the no touching rule very clear.
