Has anyone heard from Micky?? I thought i saw somewhere her inquiring about a plane ticket for her husband..

and what about the others above Becky... ???

06.14.2006 - Got Married in Alexandria, Egypt :) :) :)

05.23.2007 - INTERVIEW DATE!!!!!!! inshallah.......

*** Interview is a SUCCESS !!!! *** now for a speedy AP!! inshallah...

06.18.2007 - Starting to Freak Out over this AP #######

06.27.2007 - Visa In Hand.. Alhamdulillah!

07.13.2007 - Husband arrives in the US!!! alhamdulillah ..yup.. thats right Friday the 13th!!

07.24.2007 - Mailed in AOS & EAD together to Chicago

Our interview was 2-1-07...just a few days before Becky's

Here is our recap of the last 5-6 weeks, see if you find it as funny as I do ;)

May 4- Security checks cleared

May 23- Sent his passport to the embassy

May 30- We were told passport was ready for PRINTING and WITHIN THE NEXT WEEK he would have his passport back.

June 6- Embassy called to tell him to send his passport... haha really? how smart :jest:

June 11- Today. Was told once again that my fiance's passport is ready for printing and "as soon as it's done we will send it to him"

It's great because it's like a new adventure every week!!! <<sarcasm>>

6/23/06- Engagement Party in Egypt

7/19/06- NOA1

10/02/06- RFE email

10/07/06- RFE received (birth certificate)

10/11/06- CSC received RFE

10/24/06- APPROVED!

10/28/06- NOA2 in mail

11/08/06- Left NVC

11/09/06- Petition arrived at Cairo Embassy

11/23/06 - Packet 3 received!!!

12/05/06- Sent in Packet 3

12/14/06- Went to Egypt

1/17/07- Came back :(

1/18/07- Packet 4!

2/1/07- Interview ! ! !

07/17/07- Finally in Hand

07/22/07 - Arrived in Dallas :)

I talked with Micky. Basically they had filed for a K1. Then he had the interview and they didn't wanna wait so they got married....thus making them start all over and file for a K3 (or CR1...I forget which). I thought she had gotten the visa when she asked about the plane ticket but when I asked she said they just got the NOA2 for the K3 (or CR1?) and were waiting for NVC to send it to Cairo, so they are pretty much farther from it than you are. I wouldn't say that she's been on AR all this time since they started from scratch again.

I find it frustrating to look at the timelines on VJ because half of the ones that already got visas don't even show up. Not sure what's up with the data base.

ugh. Sounds like they're both unorganized AND grossly understaffed. Hopefully they'll hire some new people soon.

Looks like my husband will get here in time for New years. lol

12/28/06 - got married :)

02/05/07 - I-130 NOA1

02/21/07 - I-129 NOA1

04/09/07 - I-130 and I-129F approval email sent!!!!

04/26/07 - Packet 3 received

06/16/07 - Medical Examination

06/26/07 - Packet 3 SUBMITTED FINALLY!!!!

07/07/07 - Received pkt 4

07/22/07 - interview consular never bothered to show up for work.

07/29/07 - interview.

ohhhh I said the same thing, VERY UNORGANIZED, looks like everyone does their one thing and they don't COMMUNICATE with one another...

you know... I honestly think that they can't turn on their printer to print one visa on one passport. I think they have to gather a stack of passports and print them all at once, (to save energy I suppose hehe) so someone might be waiting a month for the next print date whereas someone might wait a day.

Oh well, just my theory...... I wish I had a relative that worked at the embassy to get us all out of this mess faster :help:

That's sounds like a good idea nora :thumbs: I wish that too. New Years, I hope i see my man before Ramadan!! That would be great!! Does anyone know when Ramadan is this year? i think Septemeber but not sure!

10/23/2007--7 months and 2 weeks of A/P and still waiting..........God help me!

4/22/2008---2nd Interview ( keep us in your prayers)

4/22/2008--He was approved for the Visa 2-3 weeks until he recieves it in the mail lets hope so!!

6/03/2008--VISA IN HAND! Thank you god!

7/03/2008--Our Wedding Day!

Ramadan will be around September 12th or so insha'allah. :)

I swear, if I ever make it through all this (and I have a loooooooooooong ways to go, lol), and if I ever live in Egypt insha'allah, I think I will try to get a job working at the embassy so I can try to make a difference for all of the people going through there. What a nightmare for all people involved!!

Medo's security check has been cleared May 7th and were still in AP :crying:

This is the last email i got from them June 7th. I sent them another this morning and will send them one every day till i get a answer :angry:
