My wife filed i130 in January 7 and it's been more than 11 month now we haven't heard from uscis now I'm thinking of filling i129 to speed it up being that has work for some Nebraska filer....on the other note I'm thinking of not filing i129 being that we can hear from uscis any moment from now..your opinion will be highly welcome

It is not clear if co-filing for a K3 does anything to move the I130 forward

No harm in filing. Do you have an IOE receipt number or something else? IOE cases have not had any evidence of it helping.

I concur that at 11 months, you're likely to hear something back soon. No guarantees by any means, but you're in the ballpark already.

Yes we have a receipt number from i130.. She wanted to file i129 now but I feel like there's no need for that because the maximum days have seen do far to hear from uscis in visa journey is 365days which we are close to

Filing i129 has helped most Nebraska filer to shorten their i130 from 12-15month to 6-8months

At this stage I consider this as anecdotal .. may or may not be related to filing I129..  too many unknown factors.

The issue for me is that there is no way to know if the filing of the I129 had any influence in their petitions or if it was coincidental to the processing. No one except inside USCIS can tell us that.

You are right but it can be coincidental for more than 10people have talk to on visa journey about i129 fastening up their i130 and make them earlier from Nebraska service centre

10 people over 2 months is a very, very small sample. Too small to show any evidence of a pattern. Nebraska receives boxes and boxes of I-130 petitions every single day. It it were hundreds reporting this, there might be something in it.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

All you can do is wait.  You can call USCIS, but they will tell you the same thing.  Visit each other in the meantime as often as you can, lots of video calls....  good luck!

Wait longer or file. What can it hurt. Everyone that I know that did it got approved within 30days. But most were waiting at least 6 months when they filed the I-129F.

The only way that would be at all meaningful is if we also had statistics for the number of people who filed a concurrent I-129F and observed no change in average processing speed.

It is obvious that the I129 help them to hear back earlier from Nebraska service centre
