Hello everyone

So as I’ve said before, I got DQ on Nov 25th (got the email and message on the CEAC portal) but did not bother checking much other than the message itself.

Today I randomly opened my CEAC profile and saw that the affidavits of support documents show accepted but the DS-260 documents says submitted. Inside, all documents are accepted except one (J-1 visa documentation). Which is basically a letter explaining my J-1 situation. However, the additional attached documents related to the J-1 (J-1 visa itself,  DS-2019 and ticket back to Pakistan) are accepted.

So, should I be worried about this? And what, if anything, can I do about it?

Thanks!

Here is what my CEAC Homepage looks like:

And here is what it looks like inside the civil documents submitted section:

The circled portion above says submitted (where I uploaded the letter for the J-1 situation). However, the actual documents related to the J-1, circled below, are accepted.

Please guide what to do.

Where it states civil documents submitted they still have to check that before you come dq so the front page has to say accepted as well so you still have to wait

If you are DQ’d that means you are done with the NVC stage, why worry?

If you worry, call NVC to make sure you are done.

I wasn’t worried at all until I saw this page yesterday. But yes you are right, I should call NVC and check what’s up. Thanks.

This was my understanding too. However, I have an email and a message in the portal saying Documentarily Qualified. Which is why I’m confused.

Hey, I have the same problem as you. What you found out, was it just a glitch or we still have to wait?

Not sure if it was a glitch or not. But I got the interview call without any changes to the CEAC portal.

So in my experience, as long as you got the DQ email, you’re good.

I was about to call the NVC for this, but didn’t as I got the interview email before I got the chance to call them.
