myUSCIS account creation

I have tried a few times - but get nowhere: on this site - https://my.uscis.gov/

 

But managed to register here - which appears to be different (no username) - https://myaccount.uscis.gov

 

Anyone else get this or can advise?

you trying to check status on your application, go here https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

also you have to create an account here, i dont think you can use your login info from the other website to this.

Thanks buddy: now here's the thing... I know I can check my status - but when I try to register here: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/displaySignUpStep2.do

what do you mean nothing happens, is it giving you an error? screenshot what you see

Well - I tried it 3 times on Sunday and I clicked on submit and it just returned to the homepage. I just tried it now in Firefox and the same thing happened.

So I thought, ok, try Safari - did it took screenshots and guess what? I worked! Thanks for your help!
