🤣🤣🤣 I’m afraid they’re going to return my application with that response. I’ll ask Sandra. Thanks a lot for your help.

I Have renewed my EAD 4 times already... I used “No Lawful Status” in all of them. Never had any problems and received my card within 3-4 months. Non immigrant is also correct, but if you overstayed your visa and is currently  adjusting your status, technically there is no legal status...

Thank you so much 😊 Yes it is big. I’m so happy they didn’t send me RFE or anything. I’m really exhausted with this waiting and uncertainty, I wanna be able to control my life again. Just really mentally tired with all this. But hopefully if I don’t have any problem with my interview I’ll probably have a GC in a year.

So yes I got my first DL with my C09 EAD. They gave me expiration date as the date my EAD expires. My EAD was valid for 1 year so my DL was valid for about 1 year. But the next time I went to DMV to renew my DL  (with my renewed C09 EAD with 1 year validity) they gave me DL for 3 years.

It is not a temp DL, I actually got the Real ID category DL. You know the one we need to fly in U.S. starting this year.

Thank you that is very helpful. hopefully in Texas will give me an extended DL. Again congratulations on your approval and best of luck on the Green Card interview. I heard those are straight forward :)

Thank you and you are welcome 🙂 I’m very grateful for this forum and people sharing their experiences here. Vawa is a topic that makes you feel very lonely and helpless in the beginning since it’s hard to share with others and most of us didn’t even know that we have rights.

Thanks a lot. I was just wondering if a valid drivers license would be accepted.

When I went to my I-485 marriage base interview they ask for my ID I gave the officer my Driver licenses he accepted it, but since the interview did not go further he did not ask for anything else, but for sure your passport will be request and all your type of identity document, birth certificate (with translation), passport, All EADs, etc... I recommend you to have everything in order.

I still have my interview letter from 2018 marriage based. It pretty much states all the important documents to bring..but reading people's experience here..informs me of other documents that's often asked for. Every day is different, so is every officer. Best to go fully armed with ALL documents! 😊👍 @Jenny1 read previous threads to know more.

Best to go with both. Safer to go with excess documents than lacking. Even if the passport is expired, still go with it. Most people here went with expired passports and it was okay! 👍

I just emailed my congresswoman. Pray they do same quickly cos I'm literally dying inside

I feel calling them is faster..or better still if you live not too far from them..pay them a visit! Email is good too just that they may take a while to respond.👍

So my understanding is I can file 360 today, and then 485/765 in about a month (USC husband). Do I have to wait till I get the receipt, and then add it to the application for 485/765? Will I also send the 485/765 to vermont even though they are going about 1 month after I send 360? Will they accept the forms sent this way or is concurrent filing only when they are all sent at the same time?

I believe you don’t have to wait to file your i485 and i765, you can file them concurrently with your I-360 since it’s a USC and everything goes to Vermont.

Hello guys!

Finally I got divorced.

Its been tough but here I am. Alive😅

I have couple  questions.

Since USCIS is not obligated to issue RFE how do you think should I have to send them  my divorce decree?

And. I sent them my police clearance from my native country.

On the moment when I came to US it’s been 8-9 months old.

I did it July 2017 I think and came to US April 2018

I did new one. It shows that I don’t have any crime history till the moment I gone to America.

Should I send them this new one as well?

Thank you very much!!!
