No problem thank you for this clarification and for the prompt reply. Another question, did you experience also that the 180 days extension already expired and still no results of the i360 approval and i485. Will they extend again?

No, my EAD has come on time, and when I sent the renewal last month 3 weeks later I received my I-360 EAD C31, right now i have two EAD on hand C9 and C31 both expires this year .

Hi guys,

Do they request Tax returns at the AOS interview? Just curious.

And also, if  I send a form AR-11 to Vermont, will they redirect it to my local field office where my file is?

Thanks!

No they don't. I took mine along with me on the interview day. I offered to give them but the officer said it wasnt needed. However, you need to file I864W form if you haven't and take to interview with you. As for the address change, any update will reflect in all your applications.

@sandranj @Stillwinning!!!😊 and the rest of knowledgeable people on the forum ,I went to the DMV with my extension letter to renew my drivers license and on getting there the lady told me that my extension letter is not showing on the system ..but I told her that’s what they told me to bring to renew my drivers license and later On she said she has to make a case for me  u far SAVE and she gave me a case number to be tracking till it’s says case closed then I can come back and renew the drivers license ..my drivers license will expire on Monday ...I don’t know what to do ..sometimes this immigration procedure does not always make sense ..immigration issue receipt with extension letter yet DMV is saying is not on the system ..is that not awkward ?? I will be waiting to hear back from people who have gone through this before cause is just so nerve wrecking !!! Thanks

@BluntHello dear , so I will explain what just happened to you cos I was in same .. the problem was that you went there when ur EAD card has totally expired... so there is no base for now to use for a Drivers license.. that extension letter takes time to kick in most times.. in my case it was November 26 2018 my EAD expired and I went abt 10days later to renew my driver’s license with the extension, DMV couldn’t help me my dear the also gave me case number gave me numbers to call after abt 2weeks no hope they couldn’t verify me they closed the case number , at this time i just filed my vawa abt 2months a go in 2018 sep and it seems like the vawa hasn’t really kicked in to replace my spouse application cos he gave me my first EAD card before we divorced, this was my experience.... I had to wait for abt 1 month plus almost 2 month then went back again to DMV that was when that extension letter kicked in and they gave me a driver’s license for abt 4months becos 2months was already gone from the letter.,, this can be really frustrating dear.... I pray it comes tru for u ontime...

@Blunt it’s always better to go to DVM Atleast 3 to 4 days before ur EAD card expires.,

Thank you everyone for responses!

i have another question for you guys...

I escaped my abuser husband, but I haven’t divorced yet, I just left to where he can’t find me, and I tried not to think of how I am going to divorce him, because it took me a long time to be over the whole situation mentally...

now I am thinking of how I am going to divorce him, but my biggest fear is that I will have to see him again, and that he will find out where I live now...

Do you guys know how I can divorce without seeing him, or without him finding out my new place of living?

Thank you so much ..I really appreciate..there is something that I have learned from immigration thing .never put your mind on them just do what is right and always expect the unexpected and hope for the best ...cause to be sincere some of their ways of doing things is archaic ..I can’t just wait to be free from all these immigration backlash ..it sucks sometimes I just dnt let it show on my face ..I don’t let people know what I pass through cause that’s how you know a man ..thanks once again

You will not see him if there are no kids or anything else involve. If it is a simple divorce. That's my own experience, i did not get to see my spouse.

However, when we send our paper work, it has my address on it. i am not sure about it i guess speak to attorney or anyone can help here.
