Most likely Uscis will schedule 2 interviews , but your son interview CANNOT be prior to your interview because you have to be approved first in order for them to approve your son green card, but i had cases they had the interview together.

Thank you Sandra 🙏

Hey,

My I-360 application has been finally approved ! I had enough courage to finally apply for VAWA after coming across this thread. I did not have much or  no one beside my friend to talk to but reading this thread  helped me a lot. I wanted to thank everybody including our expert Sandra ! I know its just a baby step there is still alot ahead of me . When I got the update two days ago I did not know what to do. It was like a daydream. Thank GOD! I filled my application without a lawyer (I-360,I-485,I-765). How do you find out the priority  date for the i-485 application? oh I am an April 2018 filer..

Congrats and Godbless you! You can find out the information you seek on the USCIS site.

Do you got any RFE or straight to the approval and moreover do you have any police report or court retracing order

Hey ,

I got 2 RFE :  - police clearance from my city (shortly after the initial submission)

                      - marriage certificate from city hall (which I had submitted already)

Concerning the documentation : the doctor who treated me at the clinic was kind enough to write a letter detailing the abuse. Shortly after the event I stayed at the shelter a couple of days. In a nutshell I used my medical report , shelter "'domestic violence reports" and my personal statement. I was receiving all my mail at my friend's place.

I did and they answered me yesterday:

Part of the USCIS email to my congressman:

A review of the record reflects that your constituent’s case is currently pending background checks.    Unfortunately, USCIS is not able to determine when this review process will be completed.

This respond is the same random respond they have to almost all inquire... is frustrating. Hang in there a least they renew your Work permit fast...

I applied for adjustment of status through VAWA almost exactly 2 years ago now. I filed I-485, I-360 and I-765 all at the same time. The fees were waived and I have received a prima facie every 3 months. In September they requested more evidence which I promptly provided.

I checked my case status today and finally it has been updated but I'm confused as to what it means. When checking the numbers they now state the following:

I-485 - Fees waived (this one has not updated)

I-360 - I 360 Card has been sent in the mail (what card are they referring to)

I-765 - Case denied (does this mean all my application has been denied?)

Anyone who knows more about what these mean, please let me know!! Thanks!!

I'm sure the card they mailed out is the C31 EAD most of us get when VAWA is approved! Let us know when you receive it. 👍

I-360 has been approved this is why they are sending you an EAD (Working Permit category C31 ) Following by the approval notice.

I-765 Case denied, Because they are sending you an EAD with your I-360 approval

I-485 is still pending and it will be transfer to NBC to be prepared following your Local office when they have an interview date available..

congratulations!!!

Congratulations you have been approved :-)

And your I765 has been denied because you will receive c31 category so there is no point for them to issue you 2 c31 EADs. Same thing happened with my i have c31 EAD and yesterday they denied my i765 based on c31 category since I already have one :-) I am waiting for the decision notice though ~ But congratulations
