I have additional question please. Do I have to request for a prima facie renewal or they do it automatically? Thanks in advance.

It happens both ways. But I always advice people who use the benefits of the PF to always request, as USCIS sometimes need prompting! Most folks say they have gotten automatic renewal...while the rest have had to request.👍

@sandranj

i have an attorney, yet having to seek advice from you as i sometimes donot get timely advice from them. Here is an important advice i need to respond to my rfe. Please help.

My attorney is yet to receive the physical rfe notice. I am assuming it would be for my birth certificate as my lawyer forgot(!) to include it in the original packet.

A qq occurred to me. My birth certificate is bi-lingual ie. in English AND native language. Would USCIS need certifed translation for it as its not plain English and has 2 languages?

Thank you 🙏

Hi Nu,

Our cases are quite similar. When I filled the I765 for vawa a select the C31, until now they haven’t rejected the form so probably i did it good.

Good luck :)

May we ask what you submitted initially with your package as prove of abuse or battery considering you said you submitted everything?

Anyone here who recently filed/is filing without a lawyer? How is it going so far/how did it go? Also, I am on an F1 from 2017-2022, if my i-360/485 are denied, will my F-1 remain active?

I did, my petition was approved I'm waiting for my i-485 interview date now. I would advise you to read the thread up to #12 so you can have a good understanding of what to do and mistakes to avoid. People dont get Rfe like before. If you are still lost , ask sandranj she can help ...

Hi I went through an organization that assisted me.  I did not have any medical records or police report I gave a detailed statement and affidavits which I was told was enough.  In my culture you're just not suppose to talk about what is happening in your marriage and that you're suppose to work through anything tell death do us part I wish I knew more then about this.
