You need to get a police clearance from your Country. If for some reason your Country does not issue a police clearance without your presence  then find the Law about this rule and submit to USCIS.

Make a "declaration of good moral character " stating that you are a person with good moral character, and  mention that you were never arrested, cited, charged or sentenced in your Country or worldwide. Put in your declaration  notarized declarationI declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the United States of America that the foregoing is true and correct

I’m very confused. I withdraw my i-485 petition before my interview with my abuser. August 2019 I filed my vawa and a new i-485. I never received a receipt for my previous i-485 regarding my withdraw letter. I just received an RFE regarding my new i-485 saying that they could not process 2 i-485. My attorney answered the RFE and after that they sent the receipt for my new i-485. On Friday my previous attorney (who applied for my green card based on marriage) sent me a Reopened Notice for  I-131 and the notice was addressed to my abuser. The Notice says that the case was reopened and they are reconsidering the decision previously issued (???). I don’t know what they are talking about. Why they are mailing my abuser???? @sandranj can you help me?

I have no idea why they reopened  your  I-131. Ask your attorney to call the VAWA hotline or emailed them (HotlineFollowUpI360.vsc@uscis.dhs.gov).

Hello Fellow Filers! Happy New Year everyone!

Does anybody know what month they are now processing for VAWA? I filed for a year now (Dec 2018 is when I filed). Also, one question my EAD and AP will expire on May this year, should I start requesting renewal now so i will be on time? I am working right now and wanted to make sure my EAD is not expired while I am working.

Waiting for Vawa approval is painful :(

To be kept waiting in general is not a pleasurable experience..but then what can we do in this circumstance? Just be patient. Also it is advisable to start processing your renewal as you are able to do so 180days prior to expiration..being that it takes quite a long time to be processed these days!👍

Hey guys!

So if USCIS doesn’t issues RFE anymore. They just sending denial???

And is that  mean you should leave the country?

It's not set in stone as the officers are allowed to use their discretion in each case! If you have a compassionate/humane officer handling your case, he or she might decide to give you an opportunity to prove your case by way of RFE..others may feel differently..we're all constantly praying for God's grace and favour in this petition! The race is neither for the swift nor the battle for the strong, but for God that shows us mercy!🙏🙌

i'm new in this forum. Pl advice me how to ask and post questions and ask answer from specific members ?

Just like this post you made. It's best to just post your question and members will help. Explore the forum and see if your questions fits best in one of the sections and start a thread. If it is a question about VAWA than post it here.

You need another document, this is not the final divorce document.  It is not signed by a judge or have a certified seal.

It sign by judge and its certified seal by court register.am the one that cut it off
