I suggest you stay calm because worrying will cause you to do the wrong thing. Anything from Nigeria is already looked at as fake, I know this first hand, so stay calm and use the resources here. The consulate in New York can help too, but they don’t answer the phone. It can be fixed, just need to call the right people. You need that Nigerian seal and signature. I don’t know where you live but please call the consulate on Monday.

Thanks so much

It's has the seal one like but its red one

Thank you so much for positive energy :) I’m going...hoping it will be fine 🙏

Hi there 👋 I came to visit my dad and about to go back in a couple days (jan 9th) I’m hoping not to have any trouble going back and entering U.S. with my Advanced Parole.  A couple people told me I should get a letter from the hospital about my dad’s surgery...as a supporting document. Do you think that’s necessary? Because if I do that I need to have that translated to English. Plus I will need to show my relationship status to my dad with another paperwork. Another translation etc.

Thank you all in advance 🙏

The consulate office is definitely your best bet versus trying to get it from Abuja.

Yes my abusive spouse applied for i130 and i have an approved i130. She cancelled my green card application after my i130 approval. I married to UsC

Just not understanding this ... what do you mean approved I-130 and cancelled green card application ?
how can that happen ?
I am confused too

I am a victim of abuse too , my abuser fooled me into being a changed man and we went to the marriage based GC interview and I got my conditional GC for 2 years And then he was back to being a monster and controlling me further
now does that mean he can cancel my GC too , just like your wife did ?

You already have conditional gc. My i130 was approved before our Aos interview. My wife during the interview said she dont want to live with me and hence denied my aos.,

Ok ... I understand it now .

should I still be in fear that he can cancel my green card now ?
I am still fearful on what he can do to jeopardize my immigration status ... can he do that ?
Any input would help ...

what can he really do to sabotage me further?

I TRAVELLED AND RETURNED WITH MY ADVANCE PAROLE

Good evening guys Happy New year to you all... I Applied for a Canada visa and I got it so I travelled to Canada with A car for my Christmas and New year Holiday then yesterday I Returned to the USA , I had a Name inter switch error on my Advance parole card that I was a beat worried abt 😁 funny enough officer didn’t asked abt that at all..... the parole officer at the border Swiped my EAD/AP card and said where are you coming from? (Me); I said Canada (officer) why did you visit Canada ? (Me) I have families there sir (officer): said: where is your Advance parol ? (Me):: and I said it’s right there on the card (officer) The card shows just half of the Advance parole , you are suppose to have another AP stamped in your passport before you travel  (me)::said sir my lawyer said I can travel with that card and on my Return to the U.S  I would get a stamp on my passport (Officer) Hmmm Really?  (Me) yes sir and I notice he closed the window and made a call and after the call he walked out from the little box and gave me a Yellow card and said, Go into the office across they would give you a stamp on your passport there ..  I read the yellow card and it says inspection... I got into the Office and I was asked few question and asked to do my finger prints.. after that I was asked to pay $6 for the stamp , I paid they stamp my passport gave me back AP and my passport  , I walked out of the office got back in my car and drove into the US....,,

Hey guys. I need your insight especially from @sandranj  I am a DACA recipient as well as a VAWA applicant. My VAWA Work authorization is set to expire in June 2020. My DACA work authorization is set to expire in 2021. I asked for my lawyer to help me renew my VAWA EAD and she suggested I do not need to, especially since I have a current unexpired EAD (DACA). I wanted to renew my VAWA EAD because I somehow believe it will keep my case moving? Should I renew or just wait and use the DACA EAD as suggested by my lawyer?

Also guys I wanted to ask about priority dates. I know if you’re a spouse of a citizen there is none Only for PR spouses. Is a priority date something that makes your greencard interview faster?

Even with usc spouse , I see some people got vawa ead after 18months.
