So I did vawa after my husband abused and left me. Which I was at the last stage where I went to the interview alone. I did vawa and I got prima facie approved then I got an email saying they ordered my new card but this was under the i-130 receipt not the work permit receipt so I’m confused to which card? Can anyone help me with this if they had the same experience. And I read I wouldn’t have to do over the i-485 being that I did it before with USCIS. And so anybody know what happens after this. Does everyone go to court?

Hello, I have applied VAWA with receipt date Nov 15, 2018 and its pending for approval and recently got my 2nd prima facie for 6 months ending in May 2020. I am planning to move to Michigan in April 2020 on a new job.

My concern is about the USCIS sending file to Dallas local office if my change of address to MI is not processed within that time. If I am hoping the approval comes in May 2020, is it safe to move and file change of address in April?

Also, anyone here in the VAWA forum based out of Michigan? Thanks.

Does anyone know how long it takes to reply to RFE

And can I send a late letter that I just received to attach to RFE?

You will need to respond to the RFE within the time frame indicated or usually 30 to 90 days

Just wait to see if you will received a card.  Card are issue usually under I-765 and I-485.

Regarding I-485 if the officer told you he will put on hold, it should be on hold awaiting I-360 adjudication, once Vawa is approved it will move along.

You need to change your address  to USCIS within 10 days of moving. With Vermont Service Center change of address is by filling Form AR-11 by mail, and I advice you to after changing the address to confirm it through  your congress person I think you will have time to changed it...
