Hello Fam!

Β

I Have been a silent reader since my case was approved in 2018. Since then I have been working with EAD under C31 until I had to filed for a I-485 in 2019 and I cannot use C31 anymore. My last EAD is set to expire in April 22th this is year. Β I have filed for my renewal back in November 22th last year, my last update says:

As of December 3, 2019, fingerprints relating to your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, Receipt Number EACXXXXXXXX, have been applied to your case. If you move, go toΒ www.uscis.gov/addresschangeΒ to give us your new mailing address.

Β

This is under C09 category, now I understand I cannot have the 180 days extension Due the renewal is under a different category and also . Does anybody know how to prioritize my case? What documents should I send to Vermont?

Β

Now I week ago the processing time in Vermont office was between 3- 5 months now it changed to:

Β 4.5 Months to 6.5 Months

Based on a pending I-485 adjustment application [(c)(9)]

September 01, 2019

Β

Β

Thanks.Β

Can anyone here help me write up my divorce papers?Β

No one here can help you β€œwrite” your divorce papers. However. Every circuit court has pro bono lawyers willing to help you through the process for free.Β
May God give you strength at this difficult time. Been there, so we know how it feels..

hello,Β  for how long is it safe to travel with advanced parole? is it safe (for my vawa case) to travel to other countries besides my country? has anyone here had trouble re-entering or has heard of a vawa applicant having trouble? thanks

Hi Sandra, please I filled my vawaΒ  i360 in July 2019, did finger printing in August and RFE sent on september which didn't get to me because likely i moved. So I did send change of address several times till January I called my congress man and he helped me to get my RFE immediately which I responded to immediately and sent on February. My status changes that they have recieved it. AndΒ Β a now i want to file for i485 and i765. Is it okay to do that because someone is putting fear in me, telling me to wait till they approve my case by sending prima fascie before I do so.Β

Prima facie is not an approval. As a matter of fact, prima facie does not really have any significance in some states especially in states like Texas where I am and which i can see that you are also in Texas. You can't really use prima facie to benefit anything in Texas. You should also note that not everyone receives prima facie. Some people do recieve it (I had it) and some do not. If your abusive spouse was a US citizen, then you can go ahead and file I-485 and I-765 right away or at any time you chose. I hope you understand my explanation. I know that legends the house like stillwinning will better explain this to you and eventually Sandraj will come in really clearify you. I wish you the best in your case

Was your spouse a citizen or a permanent resident?

He's a citizen

Then you can file I485 any moment, no need to wait. You will wait plenty for the interview, so Id say do it asap. Also prima facieΒ does not mean approval, just fyi. Whoever is giving you advice doesnt seem to be educated about vawa process.
