Hi All,

I just wondering if any of you can advice me. I filled for my I765 and I131 renewal on august 8, 2019 because my I485 is still pending and as far as i know my ex-wife has not withdrawn the case yet .

Today I called USCIS and it seems is not possible to obtain any information regarding my renewal. Vermont Office has the cases and does not allow to check it by phone, neither online I guess.

My questions are:

- The renewal is because of my pending I485 , why vermont has blocked my cases to not obtain information about it?

- Its been 7 months since I filled it and I don't have any answer yet. Is there anything wrong with my renewal? Can Vermont block my process to not obtain the work permit until the I360 is approved?

I told the agent by phone that I want to schedule an info pass to talk with an officer about my status but, do you know if I go to the appointment they are going to give me information about my cases?

- I'm really worried because my work permit expired on january and I'm applying for jobs but with my expired work permit I'm not having any luck.

Thanks for your help,

D.

Guys..this cracks me up. My attorney and I agreed to meet up at Federal Plaza today..the venue for my interview before the scheduled time. I arrived early because my trust and hope is not in any human but God. I proceeded to my interview, had the nicest shortest interview ever, it should be on Guinness Book of Records!😛😂 long after I've been approved and on my way back..I get a call from her.."don't submit your interview letter or anything else in my absence as it would mean you'll go in without me.. I'm almost there" I was like ok😏😕..but I have something to say...she was like "what?" I'm like I already had my interview 30mins ago and it went well! She was speechless LOL!! I've always been several steps ahead from the get go! Where my money 💰 @ 😏💁

Glory be to the most High, I saw people congratulating you and I was like wowwwww!!!! I was praising God and jubilating like it was my approval my dear you are indeed a strong pillar, you encouraged us, stood by us, am so happy . I share your  joy sister. Use this opportunity to the best.. We tap into this blessing. May the merciful Lord remember us just as he has remembered you. Glory glory glory !!!!!

Vermont didn't block anything..i360 cases are very confidential and as such infos are hardly let out. When you go for your infopass you can get all the info you want. Nothing is wrong with your renewal..mine took about 9months...maybe because my attorney submitted it to NBC instead of VSC. So maybe in the next 60days you might hear something..🙏 you are eligible to get C9 EAD before your i360 is approved if you're married to a USC. I hope you find some answers in the multitude of my words.👍

You can ask them in writing. they cannot inform you on phone. even infopass won't help it. You can ask your congress person to inquire on your behalf

Thanks my dear!😀❤ God really showed up strong for me! The officer I got was as sweet and gentle as the evening breeze!😊 I pray y'all get good people as well. I also prayed that my officer be gentle. And that’s exactly  what happened. We joked too and the atmosphere was very relaxed.
Praying that the rest here too have a relaxed and chill interview.
