Hi Everyone!

I have a questions about medical exam. We did not send the form I-693 together with I-485 2 years ago and now we got the letter saying the form I-693 is missing, bring it to the interview.

Please advise how it's better?

Should I get it done right away now or wait till I know when the interview is?

I'm also worried of how the case will be processing because right after my I-360 was approved I changed the address in the form I-485 from New York to California.

So concluding two questions:

1) how long medical exam is validΒ

2) anybody here moved from NY to CA or other states at the point of when theΒ case was approved and interview was pending? I appreciate any ideas of how the process is going etc.

Β

and additional question:

My lawyers applied my son under a separate case (don't ask me HOW, I don't know too). So his case is still pending and only my case was approved. In case something is wrong, what might be the procedure to just re-apply him under mine? Anyone ever faced this type of stuff? I'm a bit worried. Good to know my case was approved but what about my 9 year old child!????

Yes I received the same one..it was written in the letter to bring it to the interview. The medicals is valid for two years but as at the time you submit(bring it with you) to your interview, the civil surgeons signature shouldn't exceed 60days. It's the USCIS updated requirement. Still in N.Y. didn't move.πŸ‘

Same thing! The courtesy letter is a request for the updated medicals.πŸ‘

I did not do them at all. I will just bring the first ones to the interview then.

Hopefully it is not like interview tomorrow and I don't have the paper. Some advance time to make it all would be great.

If you only just received courtesy letter you still have time to get your medicals done...most people get interview notice 7-9 months after courtesy letter. So yeah.you have time. Or were you sent an interview notice?😏

No just Courtesy letter. And I have just changed my address from NY to CA. Not sure how it would affect. Anyways I don't think they transferred case to NY yet. I have heard that CA is faster.

Who knows.

I have a quick question. My APΒ was mailed to me today andΒ there’s a separate page with my picture and a blank parole stamp box. To those people who haveΒ travelled with their AP, is that supposed to be blank? Is it stamped on the port ofΒ entry? Do they take it or we keep it? Thanks in advance

I just got mine one too, same as you... I131 approved and AP letter ...my pic and blank parole stamp box... first time not having a combo card... so no idea..

Does anyone knows about it???

Sometimes all these exodus when your case is already in motion just ends up delaying you..these processing times are constantly changing...that is what I discovered. I believe your case should be at your local office now. How long ago did you change address and did you verify it?😏

Fingerprints notice is normal. For rfe do the following:

1. Submit online request to USCIS. They will not respond, but u may need proof that u tried.

2. Call them, hear a standard response.

3. Call congressman, ask to submit a request on urΒ behalf why evidence review is taking so long.

4. Contact ombudsman office and indicate that you already did the 3 things above and still haven't heard back after months of waiting for rfe review.

Thank you. I have called and done online requests, but I think it’s time to contact congressman.πŸ™

I had case approved jan 31, changed my address last week.

couple of weeks after the case was approved.

Well what to do. I intensely hated New York. Could no longer stay here. Just not my place to be.

Totally understand. Anyway you said you changed the address just last week I doubt if it has been effected. You should go find out..infopass..your new congressperson..just verify it has been changed. πŸ‘

Also they only sent one copy. It says it’s valid for multiple entries. Was wondering if they will get the original copy at the port of entry.Β
