Pls house can someone help respond to the quote above. I am a new member of this forum . I need comments from the experienced  guys. Thanks for all ur good contributions  and making pple have peace of mind.

People often get the 'We updated your name" notification whenever any administrative action is taken on their case. It's nothing to get anxious about. Good thing you have your Prima Facie..it's moving along..however, you still have quite a journey ahead..if you add the time it will take to get approved and then be scheduled for i485 interview. I hope it goes smoothly and faster for you!☺👍

Hello dear family, congrats to everyone with recent approvals and still praying for everyone with delayed cases.

So I got a call this morning from the safe house I used to live in after when things went sour with my spouse in Maryland that I received a mail yesterday from USCIS to attend my green card interview the first week of March.

Now I don't know what to do. When I moved to North Carolina I surely did change my address with USCIS and have received all my 3 EAD cards at my address in North Carolina.

I know my medical has expired so I surely need to get one done asap because my case has been pending over 3 years now.

Unfortunately I didn't receive any approval for the I-360 neither a courtesy letter as a reminder for medical under my I-485.

Within this long wait I contacted my Congresswoman, Senator and USCIS ombudsman but they all gave me the same generic response that my case was undergoing security checks.

Currently I'm a few weeks finishing up with school all the way in Texas. So I guess I have to request a break from school, go gather my documents requested in North Carolina and head to Maryland to attend this interview.

I would appreciate it so much if anyone with such experience can guide me thru this experience.

Blessed 🙏 Sunday and God Bless everyone.

Very happy. I know the day 'll come. Cong.

Hey guys I just filed for my EAD renewal and it's based on an approved VAWA. I have not filed for i485 yet. I recieved a letter today that I need to go and get my biometrics completed. Is this normal? Do they ask for biometrics when you file for i-765?

sometimes, they use old fingerprints, sometimes you are required to do it again. Not a biggie, just go for it

You need to request a copy of your EAD because it serves as your visa not only at the port of entry but usually most of the airlines know about it. do it asap
