Good morning ,

My i-360 was approved in December but I got a RFE at the beginning of the week for my I-485 . Yes, applicants can still get an RFE even after being approved for vawa. I got a RFE for my birth certificate. It was printed on an orange paper.  The way I was stressed is ridiculous.. I assumed my application was with my NYC office but when I check the address of the correspondance. It says NBC so 🧐

Did you submit your birth certificate with your initial package?

Hello dear family, congrats to everyone with recent approvals and still praying for everyone with delayed cases.

So I got a call this morning from the safe house I used to live in after when things went sour with my spouse in Maryland that I received a mail yesterday from USCIS to attend my green card interview the first week of March.

Now I don't know what to do. When I moved to North Carolina I surely did change my address with USCIS and have received all my 3 EAD cards at my address in North Carolina.

I know my medical has expired so I surely need to get one done asap because my case has been pending over 3 years now.

Unfortunately I didn't receive any approval for the I-360 neither a courtesy letter as a reminder for medical under my I-485.

Within this long wait I contacted my Congresswoman, Senator and USCIS ombudsman but they all gave me the same generic response that my case was undergoing security checks.

Currently I'm a few weeks finishing up with school all the way in Texas. So I guess I have to request a break from school, go gather my documents requested in North Carolina and head to Maryland to attend this interview.

I would appreciate it so much if anyone with such experience can guide me thru this experience.

Blessed 🙏 Sunday and God Bless everyone.

Yeah it's a bit strange, my I-360 still has: Correspondence Was Received and USCIS is Reviewing It which was updated as of March,2019.

Thank you so much for the response and surely it's all in God's hands 🙌🙏.

Also . Since I received my c31 was card if that does means my VAWA case was approved, where I need to send AP application in ? Do I still need send it to Vermont service center?

   Thank you .

You can travel JUST after getting the advance parole,it’s taking 6/8months for the USCIS isssues the AP.You must submit the AOS to Vermont.

Sure they are working on your case. Prima facie is often a good sign that suggest your documents seems to be in order as at when the officer reviewed them..you can still be asked for more documents as needed..or maybe not. Just stay positive your good news will surely come!🙏👍

Receiving one is better than not receiving one. I personally had a few of those, then got request for more evidence, then approval.

I applied in May 2019, had an initial RFE. No PF yet, getting a bit concerned.

also, applied for AP (initial) and C09 EAD renewal 180 days in advance ( expiration 03/2020), no news their either 😣🙏🏼💆🏻‍♀️
