I did receive RFe on my i485 yesterday after vawa. It could be medicals for us.. my case it at NBC right now. same status change as yours

That's what yours said? I haven't receive my letter for interview yet.. have you gotten yours?

Hey guys, I am getting ready to submit my package in this coming week, I just wanted to thank each and every one of you guys for helping me out, and most especially @sandranj thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and helping us out. For those of you that got approved, congrats and for those of us still in the process, may it turn out in our favor by the grace of God. If anyone is in Houston and needs a psychological evaluation,  I can refer you guys to the therapist that Miss Sandra connected me with, she is the nicest person I have met.

Call them first, they may ask to fill the form and email it, or come in person. Just call and say you want to speak to their immigration specialist and describe your situation, they will tell you what to do.

On their website there is a privacy release form that you should fill and message with with your A# NOA/Case number.

 

I tried my congressman's office with my initial EAD but by they time the case worker replied I already had my EAD on hand lol

 

Moving forward I personally had better luck with my senator once they inquired about my i485 it was updated.

 

Timeline: 

May 2016 retained an attorney and started to prepare my VAWA petition. 

11/08/2016 mailed my packet

11/28/2016 USCIS rejected my packet (expired forms) :(((  

11/29/2016 Mailed my packet again Via ExpressMail (I-360, I-485, I-864w, I-765, I-912, G-325A) with previous rejection notice on top & a request to expedite EAD

12/14/2016 Date on the NOA  

12/31/2016 Attorney emailed my Prima Facie (Notice date 12/19/2018)   (180 days)

01/14/2017 Mailed my husband’s birth certificate with the blue receipt that came with my Prima Facie

01/17/2018 I-360 online Update (correspondence received)

12/25/2016 Notice for Biometrics

01/12/2017 Biometrics completed

01/31/2017 EAD update (Ordered my new card)

02/04/2017 My first EAD delivered.

02/06/2017 Picked my EAD & applied for SSN

02/14/2017 Applied for state ID

02/15/2017 Applied for Medicaid

06/03/2017 Received my Prima Facie (180 days)

when I looked online there was an RFE that was sent but that I never received.

i was worried about getting  denied because I had never received the RFE ,and therefore I did even know what to send as evidence, but then after contacting the Congressman, USCIS told them that My VAWA petition had been approved.

i was so relieved 😌 .

it’s been such a painful Journey.

i can now turn this page a close this painful wound

Congratulations to the pple with approvals, I am happy to rejoice with u guys as the trauma for this process is high. God that saw u through will make us beginners  a success stories. I sent in my applications  early  December, 2019. I received  PF in January,and had gone for fingerprints  by end of January.  My case status has always been we updated  ur name. The same message for I360,I485, I765. What could that mean and can anyone help shed light on it.

Vawa can be revoked, but they revoke just in extreme cases such as, if you got married while your VAWA was pending, if you committed a felony, or a crime of moral turpitude or if you  had a sham marriage.

Thank you very much for your explaining dear Sandra. I don’t have any asylum case , I am not in remove process and i entried Us with visa . Only one thing I am worrying a lot is I have been over stayed for 9 years . I miss my family and want to visit them . Just worry if I can not re entry in Us with AP . 

   Also . Since I received my c31 was card if that does means my VAWA case was approved, where I need to send AP application in ? Do I still need send it to Vermont service center?

My i-360 was approved in December but I got a RFE at the beginning of the week for my I-485 . Yes, applicants can still get an RFE even after being approved for vawa. I got a RFE for my birth certificate. It was printed on an orange paper.  The way I was stressed is ridiculous.. I assumed my application was with my NYC office but when I check the address of the correspondance. It says NBC so 🧐
