Hi guys!

I just found this in a Vawa group on FB... do you think could be true? Getting GC with no interview?

btw, we are so lucky to be part of this forum and have @sandranj here to advise... some other groups are terrible 😖 no judgement just feeling blessed 😊

Congrats!! You should get your interview notice in 6 months or earlier 🤗

I know it says medicals but I would just wait to get them done until you receive your interview notice.

Hi. When I sent my vawa I paid 1225$ when I received receipt it showed me that form I-485 was paid and I-765, 131 and 360(I know it’s free) fees waived . It’s normal?

2. Also I have Coney Island’s(Brooklyn) free clinic card. I have my PCA doctor. I heard that after February 24 is coming new low about Medicare . Will I have any problem ? I pay only 20$ per visit. Do I need cancel my clinic card? I have my prima facie also and I never keep it

The public -charge rules don't apply to VAWA petitioners.

I don have EAD and SSN yet. When I had health problem I got Coney Island clinic card for my examination. I heard that if anybody use free insurance it gives  you problem for your green card . And my question was does it give me any problem? Because I never pay for my MRI and other checking of my body

The public charge inadmissibility does not apply to a VAWA petitioner.

Hi guys please I need your help.

I just submitted VAWA and received receipt notice in mail a week ago. I have a pending i130 and i485  based on marriage went to interview and was told to submit receipt notice once vawa has been submitted. I wrote to them a month ago that I needed more time because I don't have the needed documents yet. Today got a letter that says my application got denied for the i130 and i485... I'm so worried please help me I don't know what to do.

Nobody has a legal right to ask  USCIS to give more time to submit a document .

You made a mistake, then pray for them not put you in removal.  REFILE THE AOS ASAP, once you get the I-485 receipt inform the local office that you refiled the AOS, and ask USCIS not to issue the notice to appear in court (NTA).

Guys. suggestion time

I am planning to visit my home country on April for 3 weeks after 6 years. Off course, travelling on AP makes you nervous its natural. I haven't received any update on my I485 regarding transferring of my case to local office. I involved senator so lets see when I can receive a response. It shouldn't be any problem right if i travel abroad and come back as my I485 is still at vermont

You will be fine.

What do you do when you told you cant book an appointment till few weeks to see your attorney and you told paralegal will submit your rfe if i cant wait. according to them I still have time but reading on this platform shows the longer the time you submit the longer the wait time .some things just get you mad but you cant react.  My documents from my home country are on its way through dhl but I already have the scanned copies of everything.

Thank God for @sandra who helped me a great deal with her advice for free, you are an angel. would have been in a bigger mess. @Stillwinning!!!😊 fantastic person

the time for submission is April 27th .

please has anyone been in this kind of situation before? how did you go about it ?

frustrated.

Your attorney has until April to submit the RFE answer. He/she is not doing anything wrong or unethical.  YOU SHOULD WAIT!.
