If  you did then that's fine. Vermont is taking 5.5 to 7.5 months to approve.

Hello everybody so I sent on January 15 my request to renew EAD and AP. After 3 weeks I received receipt letter for both. 2 days ago I received a biometrics appointment for Feb 20 for the EAD. Is this normal to have biometrics again for EAD, and for those who experienced the same. How long after the biometrics did you receive the renewed EAD? And was it a combo card already? TIA

Hi I need some help and answers.. I field for VAWA on Mars 2018 at Vermont services.. since I had a pending I-485 it was transfer too with the help of my lawyer.. Today My I-360 case status change to “my card was mailed to me”.. please what’s next.? Is it my GC.? What do I need to do.? Any help. Thank you

Congrats on your approval. The card that you'll be getting is the C31 EAD that comes if your case is approved. Next is your i485 will be transferred to your local office for adjudication. This is another wait..hopefully it's not alot. 5-10months.👍

Ok. Thank you. So that means my VAWA is approve I guess .?😭 amI going to do an Interview for the GC.? If yes what kind of questions do they ask.? Is it possible to Grant VAWA petitioners GC without an interview.?

You amuse me with the crying emoji!😀😀 of course you have to attend your Greencard interview. Don't worry as long as your VAWA was approved, your chances of a Greencard is high. Just questions on the i485. Gather important documents..like birth certificate, divorce decrees, all past and present passports, valid i.d, i864w, i-94, tax documents, letter from your job.

They may or may not. I'ld have to be clairvoyant to know exactly what they will ask you. Just prepare for any question. Some officers keep it simple while others want a recap of the i360..which shouldn't be..but just be prepared. When you're prepared, you should have no fear whatsoever!👍

I’ll prepare as much possible.? So also I was about to move from Ohio to NC in mid March, what do you advice me.? Is it going to delay the process.? Am asking all those questions bc my lawyer told there will not be an interview and they will just ask for a new medical since I never sent one.

Your lawyer must be living under a rock Lol you might wanna tell him or her to come out of hibernation. The problem with these attorneys is that they are not conversant with VAWA but still take on the cases for the extra money. They are too lazy to get up to date info concerning the entire petition! Now that you're here..you might want to read early threads..it will help you with the rest of the journey and you may be of help to others! If you relocate please update your address with USCIS your file will be transferred and however long it's taking in your new location will be how long you need to wait.👍 and yes you will need to get medicals done maybe 3/4weeks before you appear for your interview since it's only valid for 60days from the day the civil surgeon signs it.
