CBP operates several immigration checkpoints in the U.S(permanent checkpoints). Last year one former visa journey member was driving in CA and they stopped him, he showed the prima facie and they let him go.CBP officers are allowed to board any bus os train (in the 100- mile border region),it's advises to travel carrying the prima facie.

Completely agree with @sandranj. I was stopped on bus when I was travelling from CA to TX at El Paso TX. I just showed my ID and they didnt ask anything further. But its important to carry all immigration documents. I didnt know about it before my personal experience.

Hi,

Did you use your lawyer address to receive uscis mail?

I also filed I360 in November 2018, I just picked up my PF extension last week at lawyer office.

Issued date  was 10 days before expired.

Hi Dear,

Yes my lawyer address in on file. I email her but she said it's fine since I don't get public benefits. I was just thinking: maybe they didn't send it because they are close to make a decision on my case? 🤷‍♀️

Hi All,

I just went to my GC interview this morning. My interview was about 20 min long.

Officer was kind of bitchy - she asked:

the yes/no questions.

All the locations/addresses I've lived, marital status and how I supported myself all these years.

I went by myself without a lawyer. I've been arrested once on a domestic violence misdemeanor (case dismissed) she asked for the certified copy of arrest and court disposition. After that she asked for the

I864w form. She did not ask for all my passports - thankfully the latest one with my last visa. At the end of the interview she said my case will go under review and she will try to make a decision today.

Praying everything was right, I will keep you posted if anything changes.

Everything will be okay.. just keep us informed.. and all the best.

Pray for us as well.. share your timeline please

Thanks guys!!! I am beyond happy and I can't think enough to each one of you in this forum for being such a valuable help on this rough journey.

My case was a difficult one due to my arrest and a missed RFE deadline but I encourage anyone who has really suffered to continue/begin this journey.

PRAISE the lord and his name. YAY

Congrats @nap_o ! Check your inbox

Hello Community! I hope everyone is having a good week! God Bless All!

Does a vawa applicant have to receive a prima facie letter? I had an RFE and did not get any prima facie. Now, I sent the RFE response and my status changed to "back in processing". Will I get my prima facie? Are there cases you don't receive it but get I-360 approved? Is it discretionary to give prima facies?
