Dear all,Β

Β

I received my Prima Facie a while back (November 2018) and it expired on November 2019. I didn't received any extension! What should I do?Β

Applied for I-1360, I-485 and 1-131+Work Permit in November 2018.Β

Β

In addition, today I was looking for the original Prima FacieΒ but I couldn't find it (might be lost on the 1000 paperworks of my case)Β Β Could this be a problem? I have a copy at my lawyer office.Β

Β

Thank you so much for all the answers!Β

Hi,

Β

Did you use your lawyer address to receive uscis mail?

Β

I also filed I360 in November 2018, I just picked up my PF extension last week at lawyer office.Β

Β

Issued date Β was 10 days before expired.Β

Flying domestic doesn't pose any problems in my experience. That said, it still does you good to always be armed with relevant documents and i.d incase an unexpected situation arises. I recently returned from Houston TX and no official looked at me funny..to and fro. Successful trip βœˆπŸš€Β i'ld say!πŸ’ I frequently travel within the U.S. and have never had any incident..nevertheless I always carry proper documentation like I advised above.πŸ‘

CBP operates several immigration checkpoints in the U.S(permanent checkpoints). Last year one former visa journey member was driving in CA and they stopped him, he showed the prima facie and they let him go.CBP officers areΒ allowed to board any bus os train (in the 100- mile border region),it's advises to travel carrying the prima facie.

Thank you Sandra. Please in the absence of PF what can suffice? Our friend seems anxious about the intending trip and without the PF! God bless.😊

@sandranjΒ and other knowledgable people of this forum I need help. During the course of my therapy byΒ  a well reputed PSYCHOLOGIST, I requested for aΒ Β complete psychological evaluation report. He declined to do evaluation on the basis of ," Conflict of Interest", but issue me a letter stating facts and that I was suffering from P.T.S.D.Β  When I contacted other psychologists, their fee was veryΒ high and was beyond my reach. Finally, I got evaluation report done by a licensedΒ PhD,Β LPC,Β MEd. So my question is, does it carries weight or as some people suggest IΒ should go for another evaluation report?

If the psychologist mentionedΒ Β the abuse inΒ detail, tests performed, diagnose, treatment planΒ then you should be fine, but having just Β  diagnose then USCIS will not take into consideration this kind of evaluation.

@sandranjΒ the psychologist just gave me a letter indicating my daignostic and some brief facts of abuse.Β But the detailed evaluation report was prepared by a Phd,Β LPC, who wasn't a psychologist. So my question is, does it carry weight in the eye ofΒ  vawa case adjudicater? Thanks

He should take with him Β the l360 receipt,Β and in case aΒ CBP officer asks prove of his status,Β he can show the l360 Β receipt. When the person hasΒ Β the prima facie they will look the PF and that is it,but with the l360 receipt they probably will check in their system if the document is a valid document.

It will get to your turn..we have seen July, Aug and Sep 2018 approvals for now...it's moving along..it will get to your turn soon. πŸ‘ For the prima facie you can enquire through your congressman what the delay is about. You can also write to Vermont..or do both.πŸ’

Hello Dear House,

Β

I’ve had 2 tourist visas in my life. Out of those I only have the latest one in my possession. The interview notice says to bring all the expired visas with me but my first I do not have it (only a scan of it)

Β

has anybody had this experience before or do you think it might be a cause for denial?

Β

thank you in advance πŸ™

Present what you have and explain to the officer why you don't have any document. I believe the scanned document will do. Try not to harbor negative thoughts..be positive..you've got this, and God's got you!πŸ™πŸ‘
