Hi, how long did it take for you to get a reply from your congressman?

I initially reached out to them just after New Years... they took their time to get started but once they started the process, 1.5 weeks

Clearly a mix-up. Very quickly contact your congressman to rectify the mess they are about to create! You should write them too..best they have something to remind them it's a mix-up and stop them in their tracks!👍

I am on it. I contacted my congressman already and i just signed the privacy release form and emailed it back. i will call them again tomorrow to make sure they have so that they can get to work immediately and prevent USCIS from complicating my case has so far been very smooth and timely. The God that i serve will not let that happen

Also guys, this was in the e-mail from Vermont to my congressman's office which they forwarded to me in response to my inquiry:

"The VSC is currently processing Forms I-360 filed on or before February 11, 2018.  The estimated time range for processing of Form I-360 is 18.5 to 24 months".

but we are seeing here at the forum cases being approved from May 2018 as well... so reality is somewhere in between. Basically if you are feb 2018 and before, don't loose heart, after Feb 18, hang in there, approved people... good for you all!

Regardless of what the processing times say..or what they put out there..they have a truck load of backlogged cases from even 2016, 2017 that they are working on as well. On the other hand they are also working on June, July, August and September 2018 cases..they only say that so they won't be under any pressure to work faster..I suppose!💁hang in there dear.🙏

What do you mean when you say "...denied which is understandable??" did you already knew you were going to get the i-130 denied? Please let us all know the reason for denial when you get the letter. Thank you and dont worry all will be ok.

because i went to interview by myself and i have vawa pending. So i knew the i-130 would be denied. I do not think i will get the denial letter because it will be sent to my spouse's address.

Yep... I just thought to share it since I had receiving.
Question, Vermont should have jurisdiction over my pending I-485 and 756 right? How come they say it’s still NBC

As VAWA petitioners, all our applications are sent to Vermont who in turn redirects as required. Vermont receives the petition and forwards it to NBC for processing.👍

Sure as long as you've applied for it, you'll get it in probably 5-7 months from when you petitioned! You might even receive it before the estimated time or later...it would come as a combo card. EAD and AP in one card.👍

Good morning Community!
How are you all doing?
I have a quick question to you all!
I am planning on moving to Houston, TX in 3 weeks due to a job offer.
Currently I live in California and local authorities issued me a DL (Real ID) for 5 years based on my current status (pending I485, I360 and EAD which I extend year by year).
So, I assume that TX is more strict and just checking if any of you live in TX and for how long you get a DL (Real ID) in TX being in our status? Only 1 year based on the expiration date of your EAD ?
Cause this is what I had living in Florida...only exactly till the exp date of EAD.
Anyways, would I be able to keep my California ID and still get a local DL or just ID in TX even for 1 year and then keep prolonging it. Will need it for proof of address purposes with banks and USCIS. How to do so ? Because I want to have this 5 years CA Real ID, it is great!
Any ideas and thoughts are welcome! Thank you :)

Guys i had my interview last month (pending i-130). I went there by myself. I requested to hold the i-485. Then after few hours i received the notification that my i-130 is denied which is understandable. However, i did not get notification for i-485. I believe it is still on hold. For i-130 i the notification it says they send me a denial letter. I have moved from that location where my spouse lives. How would i know the reason for denial? Will i get anything from the USCIS? what should i do?

You won't receive the reason of the I-130 denial, because the I-130 belongs to your spouse, that being said she will receive the reason, not you.

Hello everyone, I’m new here

I have question

I sent my vawa with 360,485,131,765 together

I got prima facie from sending  in 1 month. I got my fingerprint. It’s showing me we were taking your fingerprint. And my question is: My daughters are under 18 and I’m going to make file out to  interview in my European country for get tourist visa. Their father will be sponsor for them , he has very high salary and he also has USA visa but he never been in USA , he got it 7years ago. Do my daughters have a Chances to get tourist visa? And if I file it out does my vawa case will get trouble?

Her  father has a U.S visa then her chance increases a little bit, but because you are here probably without status then  she might have  a problem to  get a visa to come to the U.S. You won't have any problem with your Vawa case.
