Hi everyone...

I need some advice...I’m a July 2018 filer. Receipt date is 7/2/2018. So it’s been almost 18 months. I’ve received 2 Prima Facia so far.

My question is about going to visit my family. My dad is about to have a surgery with cancer on his lungs. I have Advanced Parole valid until May 2020. I’m thinking about going for a week and coming back but since my 18 months wait is almost over I can’t decide if it would be safe for me. Meaning if USCIS decides about my case/sends RFE when I’m out of country. Of course it may take longer but according to the processing times they publish they are likely to make a decision in January as far as I know.

What do you guys think?

It's safe to travel with a valid AP. I say go see your dad! Sorry about the sad situation. I pray all goes well with him and for your approval too. Godbless.🙏

You can go and come back without any issue. I do not see any problem in it

Hi Family. need advice. After I360 approval, Vermont service check our I485 as well and can send us RFE before transferring it to the local office?

Vermont doesn't adjucate i485..so after approval they will transfer to NBC who checks the entire file in preparation for interview at the local office..and sends RFE if need be...I understand this from my own situation..the i693 RFE was sent from NBC shortly after Vermont transferred it to them.👍

Thank you for quick responding everyone. Yes I have a valid AP but my concern is if my case comes to a conclusion during this time I’ll be out of the country, this may be positive or negative, will they still let me in because I have a valid AP (expires in May 2020)? If they deny my case or if I get an RFE, does the AP still let me in?

If you focus on negativity it will take form and shape..you said you're going for a week, just go and get back on time..chances of your case being processed in your absence is very slim. Go see your dad my dear, you'll be allowed in as long as your AP is valid!👍

I know...This period has been long and mentally/emotionally draining, just like all of you guys very well know what I mean. Constant worrying and waiting for the unknown. I just don’t wanna mess it up after everything I’ve been through but yeah I wanna go see my family at this point too. I may leave in 2 days and stay until Jan 1st and spend the new year eve with them maybe. Checking tickets...

Thank you all for listening and replying 🙏🙂

RFE will have no impact on your case. and why do you think they will deny your case? Do not think too much
